[19:45] <ian_brasil> Ubuntu MID (or rather the lpia port) will be community maintained..developer resources have moved to focus m ore on arm..so it is the second although i am not sure MID will die

[19:47] <ian_brasil> dunno..i have no inside knowledge of this however i just try to follow the winding path of mobile ubuntu :)

[19:48] <ian_brasil> i an fairly certain that there will be a karmic release of MID
[19:49] <lbt> Iguess at this point it seems unlikely that any Mer code will be going in though
[19:49] <ian_brasil> as i understood it , it was karmic +1 with the Mer code
[19:50] <lbt> shame - we did a lot of work on working out a process to make supporting MID easier
[19:50] <ian_brasil> instead of syncing with moblin thet will pull from Mer
[19:51] <ian_brasil> lbt, well if i was you i would try to get hold of lool or ogra for more details
[19:51] <lbt> willdo, lool was helping me out the other day on cross-compiling but we didn't discuss the MID/Mer thing...
