mac9416Hello, I am trying to run "bzr branch lp:~excid3/keryx/devel" and I get this: "Host key verification failed. bzr: ERROR: Connection closed: Unexpected end of message. Please check connectivity and permissions, and report a bug if problems persist."03:25
mac9416It didn't ask me for my SSH key passphrase as usual.03:25
mac9416Perhaps it's because I created the key /before/ installing bzr and it somehow doesn't know how to use it?03:26
mwhudsonmac9416: that sounds more like ssh is bitching because you have an old key for bazaar.launchpad.net in known_hosts03:27
mac9416mwhudson, OK, where is known_hosts?03:27
mwhudsonmac9416: are you on linux?03:27
mac9416Yessir03:27
mwhudsonmac9416: ssh-keygen -R bazaar.launchpad.net will make ssh forget about the key it knows03:28
mac9416OK03:28
mac9416Output: "fopen: No such file or directory"03:29
mwhudson!?03:31
mac9416Haha03:31
mwhudsonmac9416: can you run "ssh <your lp login>@bazaar.launchpad.net" and pastebin what that says?03:31
mac9416sure03:31
mac9416mwhudson, http://paste.ubuntu.com/283454/03:32
mac9416Doesn't look good :-(03:33
mac9416Waaaaaaait....03:33
mwhudsonmac9416: did you get a chance to type "yes" to the question?03:33
mac9416Hehehe03:33
mac9416I'm used to commands defaulting to yes XD03:33
mac9416Works now, thanks so much. :-)03:34
mwhudsonopenssh is somewhat less trusted than most :-)03:34
mwhudsonnp03:34
mwhudson*trusting03:34
mac9416BTW, it says "No shells on this server." then exits. :-P03:34
mac9416But I guess I can't really expect to SSH into launchpad ;-P03:35
mwhudsonyes, that's expected03:35
mwhudsonbut it's easier to see what's going on when you get bzr out of the way sometimes03:35
mac9416Yeah, I see what you mean.03:35

al-maisanGood morning!06:17
neonoe_Hello, I am looking for a link describing all general services that launchpad provides. Do you have any good bookmarks? (with google, queries with words such as "forum" or "mailing-list" do not help)07:27
noodles775neonoe_: have you looked at the tour?07:28
neonoe_yes07:28
noodles775That's the one link I'd recommend for describing all the general services that Launchpad provides.07:29
neonoe_yes but it is not precise enough07:29
=== noodles775 changed the topic of #launchpad to: Read https://help.launchpad.net for help | Help contact: noodles775 | Join https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-users | This channel is logged: http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/ | Launchpad is open source: see channel #launchpad-dev
noodles775neonoe_: In what sense - what specific information are you after? (the sub-pages of the tour seem quite specific?)07:30
noodles775For eg, https://edge.launchpad.net/+tour/bugs07:31
neonoe_indeed. But are there newsgroups ?07:31
neonoe_code search ?07:31
noodles775neonoe_: newsgroups? There are mailing lists - and email interface for many things (such as bug communication, merge proposals for code etc.)07:34
noodles775neonoe_: and you can browse the code of any open project on Launchpad, but not search (I'm not sure what you mean - search all projects for a specific piece of code?)07:37
neonoe_indeed, you are right : newsgroup do not really matter if we have mailing-list07:39
neonoe_in fact, I am looking for a collaboration tool in order to develop an mozilla addon07:40
neonoe_and I found such link: http://www.mozdev.org/drupal/wiki/WhyMozdev07:40
neonoe_Then, I wonder if i could make a comparison with launchpad07:41
noodles775Yeah, that'd be interesting to see... I'm looking through it now.07:41
neonoe_I tried to complete it with launchpad  in a new column07:42
neonoe_but I am not sure that we can make it (but i would be interesting)07:43
neonoe_s/i would/it would/07:43
noodles775Yeah, there are certainly a lot of areas where Launchpad is much more than a code-hosting option (eg., see both translations and ubuntu package building/hosting on the tour), but it is also bug-reporting+code-hosting of course.07:45
noodles775And Launchpad doesn't *yet* have a wiki option - but it's planned... :)07:45
neonoe_exactly07:46
neonoe_ok thank you for help07:47
noodles775np07:48
neonoe_noodles775: can we have a blog of the project ?07:50
neonoe_with launchpad ?07:50
neonoe_I should be more precise: a blog of the project that I could develop for example07:51
lifelessyou can make announcements07:52
lifelessand there is RSS for them07:52
neonoe_ok07:52
noodles775neonoe_: and the announcements are displayed on the project's home page (see the right hand column on the Launchpad project itself).07:53
noodles775https://launchpad.net/launchpad07:54
neonoe_ok I understand07:54

HelloCatFood1Is there a way to search for bugs that haven't had any comments?13:17
mdeslaurI've got a weird search bug with launchpad: click on Advanced search, check "In progress", enter "ubuntu-security" as bug subscriber, check "only bug with patches available". No results. Bug #430064 should show up in that query, but doesn't.13:30

Mez2 questions: what is "gravity" regarding a bug, and if it's not the "affects me too" - where do we find information for that?14:23
noodles775Mez, where are you seeing the word "gravity"?14:26

dbsIs there any update to the open beta part of the roadmap? https://help.launchpad.net/API/Roadmap hasn't been updated since 2008 :(16:15
dbsOur project is considering moving to launchpad.net, but we want to ensure that it will be easy to export our bug data etc if we decide to subsequently move on16:16
beunodbs, the API for bugs is mostly done16:17
beunoas for getting your data, if you need to export it, and the API doesn't satisfy you, we will export it for you16:18
beunowe've done it before16:18
dbsbeuno: good to know; I had been reading through the api docs and started wishing for a nice simple conneg with json output for a given bug / list of bugs, but we'll be happy with an API :)16:20
beunodbs, I can't think of any data you can't get out of the python API16:20
dbsbeuno: right-o, thanks a bunch16:22
beunodbs, np, and welcome  :)16:22

mdzwhat happened to the bug page link to +activity? I can't see one16:47
thumpermdz: I think it was removed16:48
beunomdz, it was dropped, and we're working on getting all that interleaved in the comments16:48
beuno"all that it has"16:48
beunomdz, if there's anything specific you miss, let us know so we can prioritize16:48
mdzbeuno: I miss having the link :-/16:49
mdzI will be looking at a bug and think "when did this bug get assigned?" or "who updated the status last?"16:49
beunomdz, ok, I'll figure this out with deryck, either put the link back somewhere, or have a very short term plan to get all the information interleaved16:50
mdzbeuno: even if it's interleaved, it's much easier to answer that question by reading +activity than scanning through for interleaved comments16:52
beunomdz, I think that due to the amount of data, we will have to seperate comments from activity, or some activity, so maybe it will just be a toggle16:54
