dirk2Actually, I'm looking into recent rootstock script. For 'karmic' it uses vmlinuz-2.6.31-rc3versatile1-cortex-a8 and -cpu cortex-a8. Is this only the configuration options for QEMU, or are the is the resulting rootfs compiled for A8, too? Or the other way around: Will a karmic rootfs created with rootstock run on ARM11, too?16:50
ojnARM11 is ARMv6. Karmic is built for v6 + VFP, so as long as your specific ARM11 has VFP you should be good16:57
kblinojn: so karmic won't work on the maxwell sheevaplug? that's an ARMv517:05
ojnkblin: Correct, as far as I know.17:12
