[08:24] <Techie> however in the case of ATI there is an open source alternative that works with most of the older cards extremely well
[08:24] <Techie> so while the manufacturer may not support unix, the open source community may support that card

[08:25] <Techie> they make the FGLRX driver, however there is an opensource driver set, that includes the r128 and radeon drivers
