squirrelpimpi'm looking for a way to monitor processes that run on my system for some 30 minutes. Usually i start then and i'd like to become notified upon completion. However i'd prefer some notification area over a popup and i'd also prefer not to mess with the shell starting the process. So the most favourable thing would be having a python script check for process completion and turn some light/knob/website from blue to red/green depending on11:23
squirrelpimp the exit code.11:23
squirrelpimpnow the questions: Is there something already implementing this feature? And how can i wait for a process and determine its exit status, if i'm not the parent process?11:23
