=== jakent_ is now known as jakent [02:12] greetings all, could use some assistance in setting up MythTV, any takers? :) === ohm is now known as aether [13:55] morning, all. [13:56] What is the mythtv package? [14:50] NM === bogus is now known as Guest99100 [19:03] !help [19:03] !help For a complete list of my knowledge visit: http://www.baablogic.net/Zinn.cgi Other available commands: !status, !about, !bug [bug_number]. [19:05] For some odd reason, i cant get mythtv/mythbuntu to recognise my Shuttle SG33G5M remote, i cant quite figure out what it is. Read practially all the guides ive found but no success =\ [19:16] Fixed itself somehow o_o === bogus is now known as Guest21623 [21:48] I was wondering if there is a facility to control the execution order of User Jobs. i.e. execute user job 1 on server x then, on completion, execute user job 2 on server y [21:49] To clarify, both user jobs would be attached to the same chanid/starttime combination. [22:18] I reently installed mythbuntu as a front/backend. Everything is working fine except that m videos(collection of avi files) are not showing up when I "Scan for changes". Instead what shows up is what is in /var/lib/mythtv/recordings(all the mpg files mythbunu recorded) [22:20] Utilities/Setup->Setup->Media Settings->Video Settings->General Settings->'Directories that hold videos' is set to /var/lib/mythtv/videos [22:21] my mythfrontend user has access/permission to that particular path as well [22:23] mythbuntu version is 9.10 [22:41] antiPosix1, it should be set to a blank box for 9.10 i think by defualt [22:41] and then in the backend you configure a storage group [22:42] although the way you did it should work too [22:42] it was, I set it to /var/lib/mythtv/videos [22:42] should I blank it? [22:42] did you not make a videos storage group in mythtv-setup? (or did you delete the one that should have been made for you)? [22:42] I set up a SG for videos when setting up mythtv-setup [22:44] oops, the 'Videos' SG is set to recordings.... [22:44] thanks for the direction guys! [22:46] hehe, glad it's something simple :) [23:00] dumb question, I think: Mythwelcome keeps reporting that the system is busy transcoding even though the system is idle. Have I got something misconfigured?
