[01:07] anyone awake? [05:08] anyone using groovy with the launchpad api? === jamalta is now known as jamlata-afk === thekorn_ is now known as thekorn [18:49] Any devs in here? [18:49] I've found a bug that is only happens when a package is built on launchpad. [20:50] quentusrex: not a bug, a feature :). Debian guidelines say you can't rely on internet connectivity for buildds, and ubuntu buildds /all/ have internet disabled while building. [20:51] thanks lifeless [20:51] It was an application build bug. It wasn't erroring out the build when it was missing a set of libs [20:51] So, it was completing the build, just with large chunks missing. [20:52] thats also a packaging bug [20:52] your install rules are so generic debhelper won't error [20:52] if you make them a little more specific it can error for you [20:53] yeah, that is what I noticed too [20:53] it won't error out if you have a * in the install rules. [20:53] thinking about this, thats worth filing a bug on debhelper [20:53] well [20:54] if your build was finding 0 files it worth filing a bug on [20:54] if it found 1 (e.g. a symlink file or something) then its not as obviously a bug in debhelper [20:55] it wasn't finding any of the files that would have matched the * line [21:02] then I suggestyou file a bug on it [23:24] <_Groo_> hi/2 all [23:24] <_Groo_> is dput still broken?, i wanna contribute some new packages but i cant upload a 25k package!!! [23:28] _Groo_: that is more a topic for #launchpad [23:30] <_Groo_> maxb: k
