[08:10] good morning all! [11:01] morning all === schwuk_ is now known as schwuk [13:43] * ara -> lunch [14:18] morning fader_ [14:18] davmor2 et alia: howdy [14:20] * davmor2 is using lucid on my main box now this might not of been the best usage of my time :D [14:26] davmor2: It's been pretty stable for me recently. In fact, I think the only problems I've had have been nVidia proprietary driver-related [14:26] (Once I learned the trick of telling it to stay in "high performance" rather than "power saving" mode it's been stable too.) === yofel_ is now known as yofel [16:52] czajkowski, hey! [16:53] czajkowski, was it you who had an issue when upgrading to lucid related to OO.org? [16:53] ara: it was indeed [16:53] but someone kirkland? fixed it [16:53] and I was able to upgrade [16:53] czajkowski, can you remember the bug number? [16:53] mmm [16:53] I can get it [16:54] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/532068 [16:54] Launchpad bug 532068 in openoffice.org (Ubuntu) "Upgrading from karmic2lucid is giving error of open office dependency issue (affects: 3)" [High,Confirmed] [16:54] it's still an issue (unless there was an openoffice upload over the weekend) [16:55] czajkowski, how did you workaround it? [16:56] ara: uninstall openoffice.org-filter-binfilter [16:56] removed open office as I had to do some other testing and needed lucid [16:57] the upgrade tool now blacklists the package, though it doesn't tell you to uninstall the package. [16:59] sbeattie, yes, thus this duplicate: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/542011 [16:59] Launchpad bug 542011 in ubuntu "karmic > lucid upgrade fails openoffice.org blacklist (affects: 11)" [Undecided,New] [17:05] czajkowski, yours was a duplicated as well. original bug: 516727 [17:05] oops, sorry [17:07] no worries! apparently is hitting a lot of people trying to upgrade === hggdh_ is now known as hggdh
