crazybyteamitk, jjohansen  hello! If you remember I tried to ask you in helping me find the cause of some kernel oops in Karmic. Here is the bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/565172 I also tried to use noapic kernel command line option that seems solves the issue (apparently). Any suggestion about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!05:17

* hyperair thought it had always been a default.13:54
joaopintohum, that is odd I just noticed a major performance decrease recently14:02
joaopintoa debootstrap that usually takes 1-5 minutes was taking like 10-2014:02
joaopintoI had to manually force barriers to 0 on fstab14:02
joaopintoI don't have this problem with a VM which is using the server kernel14:02
hyperairjoaopinto: you could cat /proc/mounts on older releases to check14:06

melkorThe kernel development seems to have changed recently.  Why aren't there any more 2.6.33 versions?23:36
melkorAlso these distro dependant packages.  I can't seem to install because they are missing a file (2/3)  so do I have to use the file from a previous release?23:38
melkorie the latest 2.6.34 rc4 installed okay today with only two files, but I already had a 2.6.34 rc 4 installed.23:41
