[00:02] desrt, it's funny you should mention a memory leak in some dbusmenu related code - i've seen some users saying today that g-p-m is leaking a lot too (in the appindicator / dbusmenu code) [00:06] i think the problem is in glib-dbus [00:06] it's DBusMessages that are leaking [00:07] and dbusmenu never handles those directly [00:07] so unless there's some weird indirect effects going on here... [00:18] desrt - it's strange that people have only started reporting these issues in the last couple of days [00:18] i just had a look to see if there are any likely culprits in the recent uploads, but i can't find any [00:18] well [00:18] slow leaks are not noticed [00:19] the only reason i noticed this is because the sound indicator is going mental [00:19] and spamming my dbus with dozens of messages per second [00:19] i suppose that's true. i don't know how quick these leaks are happening ;) === Mike||gone is now known as mikelifeguard === mikelifeguard is now known as Dc987_ === Dc987_ is now known as ekkimargni === ekkimargni is now known as Mike||gone === Mike||gone is now known as mikelifeguard === mikelifeguard is now known as Mike||gone [16:10] good afternoon [16:11] qense: hey [16:12] hey vish! Or is this only for design of such things? [23:08] If so... is it possible to put a gtk.Entry widget inside an AppIndicator? Like in the MeMenu? [23:09] I know I can do that for a normal menu. [23:10] But it doesn't seem to work inside an AppIndicator. [23:11] Am I doing something wrong, or is that just not possible? [23:35] dieki, I'm unfortunately on my way out -- but there currently isn't a way -- we want to make it possible for Maverick. [23:40] Alright. === Mike||gone is now known as mikelifeguard
