[01:33] Hey, can anyone here help me with the date-time indicator? It seems to be broadcasting a time about a full minute behind what XChat is giving me. [01:37] maybe this? https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-datetime/+bug/581608 [01:37] Launchpad bug 581608 in Indicator Date and Time "two clock applets with diff minutes (affected: 1, heat: 124)" [Low,Triaged] [01:37] Ah, yes, that seem to be is, thanks. [01:38] does it have an option to display seconds? [01:39] XChat does, not the indicator (that I've found) === \vish is now known as vish === zniavre_ is now known as zniavre [17:27] apachelogger: you were the one looking for sound indicator info right? [17:27] * apachelogger is all headachy [17:27] jcastro: soundmenu, if that is the same thing [17:27] it's that booze! [17:27] yeah [17:27] ^^ [17:27] https://launchpad.net/~indicator-sound-developers [17:27] just wanted to check up on whether there has been discussion going on with KDE [17:28] that's where the mailing list will be (he just set it up like a day or so ago) [17:28] I'm not sure who conor has talked to yet, but I think it'd be great to start the conversation like, asap [17:28] * apachelogger tried to do that, not sure where it went though [17:28] apachelogger: how about I do this, I'll send an intro mail? [17:28] and CC you? [17:29] jcastro: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kubuntu-devel/2010-May/004413.html [17:29] should also have gone to the ayatana list [17:29] * apachelogger finds the implementation proposal in there a very good one [17:30] ok, I'll rally all this up [17:31] kthx :) [17:31] hmm, that p.p.s concerns me [17:32] afaict all the documentation we've written attributes KDE correctly. [17:35] I am not upto date on whom to attribute for what regarding the statusnotifier spec, but I must agree that writing the kind of pages /SoundMenu belongs to in a way focused on Ubuntu as a platform on its own is not the way to get KDE motivated in giving input [17:35] that has also been mentioned when we discussed the proposal at the KDE Multimedia sprint a couple of weeks ago [17:35] * jcastro nods
