[16:18] so...it seems my battery is magically back to life, but I see a bug. after a few minutes on battery power, the display is dimmed to like 5% brightness [16:19] I also notice that the brightness slider in the battery applet is set way down every time I open it. could it be related? [16:21] ah, in the power options I see "dim display when idle for..."...maybe it's not noticing my activity? I'll try that [16:34]
