lagIs OMAP3 in the Maverick tree?14:55
amitklag: yes, in the master branch14:57
amitklag: this question is better for #u-k, though14:57
lagI assumed because it was Arm related?14:58
amitklag: it is still the kernel, so responsibility of #u-k, IOW, you, mpoirier and cooloney ;)14:59
mpoirieramitk: what is #u-k ?15:00
amitkmpoirier: #ubuntu-kernel, I'm lazy15:00
lagI see. I assumed arm-kernel == arm15:00
lagBut *-kernel == kernel15:00
lagGot it15:00

sshekarogra: a question on OMAP4...17:38
GrueMasterogra: thanks.  Downloading now.17:40
sshekarwe have dual display on the OMAP4 SDP/ Blaze...the easiest way to drive these would be with xorg.conf......but Ubuntu is not using xorg.conf, what do you recommmend?17:40
sshekarogra: to fix in X display driver itself?17:40
GrueMastersshekar: Ubuntu can run with an Xorg.conf file.  That's the only way to get nVidia SLI or twinview to work.  The default is not to have one and generate settings on the fly.17:56
sshekarGrueMaster: thanks.17:58
lagWhats the default console on the Beagleboard XM?19:35
GrueMasterlag: are you referring to the serial port?  If it is the same as the Beagleboard, it is ttyS2.19:51
lagGrueMaster: Thought as much, thanks19:55
GrueMasterI don't have an XM to verify with, though.20:15
asacogra: what did you do about CHS?20:37
AndyJnot certain I am in the right channel but I'm trying to get help building some software on a mx51 board running ubuntu 10.04 and I'm getting the following error:  Error: selected processor does not support `swp r3,r2,[r1]' .  Anyone have any thoughts?20:40
AndyJcat /proc/cpuinfo  : http://monobin.com/__m7b7c9b3c   if that helps anyone the processor should run swp just fine from the looks of it20:42
armin76AndyJ: thats weird, the ubuntu gcc uses -march=armv7-a by default21:41
ssvbAndyJ: 'swp' instruction is deprecated21:48
ssvband it is not supported in thumb2 mode21:50
ssvbyou can try compiling '-marm' option21:51
ssvb*with21:51
AndyJssvb: thanks will give that a shot21:52
