kxI have compiled a kernel obtaining the source with git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu-lucid.git MyDirectory. Now I want to update the files to the latest 2.6.32-24.39 additions. Is there a git command to do that?18:57
kxI think the git user's manual has my answer19:04
Guest39869I used my old .config for the 2.6.32-21 kernel to compile the 2.6.32-17 kernel and it installed a lot of new modules. I don't think they were necessary, so is there any way to change this so it won't happen in the future?21:39
