I've just bought an album of the music store, and the log says that it's scanning every single one of my 1000s of pictures I have synced. I'm assuming it's not going to download the songs till it's done that, which could take ages :/
[10:11] <kazade> it's also pretty frustrating that now I've paid for 50G of space, that the sync daemon doesn't deal well with a lot of files, all of my PCs become pretty unusable for about half an hour after booting (I'm assuming because of this whole scanning every file thing) unless I kill U1 :(
