[21:37] <charlie-tca> Of course, it may not be feasible for this to happen, since we could lose users trying to do that

[21:38] <charlie-tca> We just need to get more contrast in the panels and icons, and the text. It is a lot of work to do that.
[21:39] <charlie-tca> Maybe we could work at it a little at a time.
[21:39] <cody-somerville> A second highly-accessible theme in addition to the default will probably be needed for some users.
[21:40] <charlie-tca> Of course, but there are high and low contrast themes that can be used. No matter what we do, not all users will be able to use the defaults.
[21:40] <cody-somerville> But we should certainly be conscious of opportunities to improve the default theme's accessibility and reduce eye strain it might be causing.

[21:41] <mr_pouit> to achieve that, it is necessary to start "sooner" (e.g. for maverick it was definitely too late)
[21:42] <charlie-tca> I am not very patient with it, which does make it harder for me to discuss reasonably
[21:42] <charlie-tca> Yes, mr_pouit. I agree. That's why I want to start now discussing it for Natty. If we start with that in mind, it will be easier to work towards it.
