[01:03] this function seems to turn web URLs into API URLs (obviously some limited subset) [01:03] bdrung_: Production doesn't have 'production' in its URL. [01:03] edge is edge.launchpad.net, production is just launchpad.net [01:04] err, s/production/edge/ that's a 2am typo [01:07] wgrant: would that be the right check or should we make it more restrictive? [01:08] bdrung_: I think you should be comparing the netloc directly. [01:08] Not with that jungle of comparisons. [01:09] tumbleweed: ^ [01:11] bdrung_: sounds fair enough, it was a very hacky patch. I'll look in the morning. [01:12] tumbleweed: Comparing the netloc (perhaps after stripping 'api.' from the front) should do what you want. [01:12] As well as being far cleaner. [01:12] wgrant: yeah [01:13] tumbleweed: let me know once you have developed something [01:14] bdrung_: k, night. [01:14] night === bjf is now known as bjf[afk] [04:12] lamont: bohrium is sad. Should I wait longer? [08:44] Won't make a difference. [08:45] eugenesan: https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/soyuz/+faq/990 [08:45] eugenesan: no, you need to change the "upstream" version [08:45] If you change the original tarball, you need to reupload a newer version of the original tarball (regardless of deletion) [08:46] that's sad... [10:15] I'm OK - back in London (for the moment) [10:15] and, yes, it appears that that is the same bug [10:15] (although launchpad did not detect any duplicate when I put in a summary) [10:15] elinks appears to work, are you able to install it ? [10:15] am installing it now [10:15] the more specific your summary the less likely lp is to find a dup [10:16] we need a radically better search engine; its on the TODO after 'make LP fast' (which is coming along quite nicely) [10:17] saw your blog post (and slides) about that [10:17] sounds like you are enjoying the team [10:17] wildfire: having a great time [10:20] lifeless: yes - working with elinks (although you have to login twice; once to login, the second time it'll realise you are logged in and then give you the oauth "allow access for apport-collect" prompt) [10:20] cool [10:22] bug updated to reflect those details too === bpeel_away is now known as bpeel [10:23] thanks [10:34] avoir === jtv changed the topic of #launchpad to: http://launchpad.net/ : translations export to branches broken if branch owner has no contact email / preferred email set | Read https://help.launchpad.net/ for help | Help contact: - | Join https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-users | This channel is logged: http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/ | Launchpad is open source: https://dev.launchpad.net/ === mrevell is now known as mrevell-lunch === dendrobates is now known as dendro-afk [14:51] Exageration of adding translations that generated with auto-translation tools is a reason for suspension of users from Launchpad? The builds apparently are taking so long that by the time the next daily build uploads, the previous one hasn't built yet. This causes issues because the new build will supersede the old build. This is a problem because the old build never gets built, and the new build's timer gets reset (making the TTB ~24 hours) [21:03] Since there isn't a way to have publishing dependencies, any chance a change can be made on LP side so that the build timer doesn't get reset for superseded builds? [21:11] tgm4883, you're asking about binary builds, not source package recipe builds, right? [21:12] well they aren't recipe builds, we upload source packages to the PPA and wait for LP to build them, but it's taking so long that they get superseded the next day [21:12] effectively never building the package [21:13] so talking about the binary builds never being available to users === dendrobates is now known as dendro-afk === dendro-afk is now known as dendrobates === bpeel_away is now known as bpeel === bjf is now known as bjf[afk] === Ursinha is now known as Ursinha-afk === Gibby is now known as Gibby_away === salgado is now known as salgado-afk === bpeel is now known as bpeel_away [23:10] I'm trying to file a bug aginst "linux" in Ubuntu I created with "ubuntu-bug linux", but when I submit I'm getting an timeout.
