[07:17] newz2000: what is the status of the wiki theme now? [14:34] AlanBell: I'm not certain, I've got to find an answer to that myself today [14:35] ok [14:38] so who did the wordpress theme? [14:38] stas did that [14:39] waz up guys :) [14:39] I am working on the new Ubuntu-UK site [14:40] based on the wordpress theme, but tweaked a bit for accessibility and other stuff [14:40] AlanBell: glad to hear that, if you need help or got questions i'm around [14:40] I can't figure out why the menu at the top in the second header doesn't display most of the time [14:40] http://beta.ubuntu-uk.org/about/ [14:41] http://beta.ubuntu-uk.org/asdfkja [14:41] so on the 404 page there is a menu of pages at the top, it seems to be off on all the other pages and I can't figure out what is doing it [14:42] AlanBell: you're using trunk? [14:42] i mean the bzr branch [14:42] well it came from trunk initially [14:42] what version it says it is? 2-rc? [14:42] 0.2-rc [14:42] but I have been prodding at it with the wordpress editor [14:43] actually it claims to be 0.1-stable [14:44] AlanBell: just put a dummy text widget in secondary header menu [14:44] 0.1-stable is good, but 2-rc is better, has new stylings for pages and posts, plus some bugfixes for 404 pages and compatibility with latest thematic [14:44] they updated it recently [14:45] newz2000: the ubuntu-news.org js part is still broken [14:46] not sure what you mean by the secondary header menu [14:46] there are no "menus" defined [14:46] there are widget areas including Menu and Sub Menu [14:47] AlanBell: http://is.gd/g8azd [14:47] sub menu i mean, my bad sorry [14:47] ok, I put a text widget there, still doesn't work [14:48] hmm... can you update the functions.php file from bzr branch, it should bring some fixes [14:49] ok [14:49] nope it doesnt, just checked that on http://new.ubuntu.softwareliber.ro/404 [14:50] * stas fixing it now [14:50] great [15:31] AlanBell: should be fixed with rev.14, though loggerhead will show something else [15:31] http://paste.ubuntu.com/516275/ [15:31] * stas sorry had to reinstall full lnmp stack after 10.10 upgrade [16:30] hmm, that breaks it for the 404 too! === pleia2_ is now known as pleia2 [16:36] stas: 404 was the only page where it worked [16:36] unless it isn't actually supposed to display the pages [16:37] AlanBell: by default it displays the subpages [16:37] on 404 page it was displaying some weird pages list [16:39] hmm, it was displaying all of them [16:40] as opposed to none of them, which my other pages are doing [16:41] oooooh there is supposed to be stuff in the top orange bar . . . [16:42] now I undersand the problem, it is the top bar that isn't working [16:50] AlanBell: use the custom menus, to create a menu for top bar [16:53] full. of. awesome. [16:54] the point of submenu to list subpages is that some websites need a secondary menu for listing navigation, and if there's nothing to show off you can place a default widget with text or list of links inside [16:54] or another custom menu [16:59] yeah, that makes sense, I just thought it was supposed to be the main menu
