[05:19] <Madpilot> give the real thing a shot. the default settings I find a bit of a pain, but I'm old fashioned sometimes.

[05:20] <dscassel> Screen + irssi means I can check the channel from work and home and elsewhere, which is handy.
[05:20] <Madpilot> with real xchat, ditch the tree-thing on the side in favour of tabs along the top, enable coloured nicks & timestamps, and you should be OK
