OlognMy compiz is still broke, but I can live with that...04:12
cbillcoz_ did you figure that out? im curious too, going to grab the daily when i goto bed04:40
coz_cbill,   no I didnt...couldnt install natty from alternate daily build...upgradeing maverick from it failed also04:43
coz_cbill,  the closest I cam was change maverick's sources list all to natty04:43
coz_cbill,  installing unity ppa  but that idid work   when I ran  unity --replace it said unity was not installed  but it was04:44
coz_cbill,   so I guess i have to wait :)04:44
rwwunity isn't a window manager, so I don't think unity --replace would work04:44
rwwI haven't tried it, so I don't know what the right command is, though ;)04:44
coz_rww,  ah ok04:44
coz_well I will ask around and search online...but at this point nothing is going to work well enough04:45

coz_cbill,  i think I figured out the problem on my end though... the other a capacitor blew in one of my systems...apparenlty it is the one that I am trying to install natty on05:19
coz_so I am going to switch motherboards and check it out myself05:19
coz_the other day rather05:21

robs58 I am unable to telnet to another machine.  I am not even able to telent to my localhost.  I verified the following is true:  (1) xineted is working and enabled (2) telnet/port 23 is listed in /etc/services.  However, when I run  netstat -napt,  telnet/port 23 is not listed.  Any ideas as to why my telnet is not working?19:41

donnieMy update process has stopped at E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.  donnie@donnie-laptop:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a Setting up xulrunner-1.9.2 (1.9.2.13+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu2) ...21:23

yofeldonnie: either remove the package or edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/xulrunner-1.9.2.postinst so it says 'GRE_VERSION=1.9.2.13' in line 521:28
yofeland run dpkg --configure -a after that21:29

BUGabundoam I the only one that at some point gets tired of not the basics of things working?22:18
BUGabundosure, I'm the one who forced onto myself to run a devel distro22:18
BUGabundobut come one :(22:18
bjsniderBUGabundo, no one forced you to run a devel distro23:31

* yofel can't wait for KDE 4.6 beta1 :D23:34
yofelright now everything works perfectly fine here :/23:34
rwwWhich KDE version is planned to be in 11.04 release?23:35
TerminXeverything works fine here too23:35
TerminXI, uh, even run natty on the old rackmount I use as a router/gateway23:36
TerminXI figure there's not much of a point to running apt-cacher-ng on it if the packages aren't the same as what my desktop runs ;)23:36
yofelrww: probably 4.6, but I won't bet my life on it23:37
