[07:08] <chesty> that's good enough, i would guess the cdrom has some errors on it, I don't think you can recover gracefully from this point. you'd have to ctrl-c at the least

[07:40] <Eleanor> Actually,^C returned me briefly to the coomand prompt, but ten seconds later, the loop kept going. Better try removing modprobe.
