[01:32] g'night === ailo__ is now known as ailo [15:51] ScottL, I see the issue with the panel on logging in now. I am testing the 64bit Natty. when you hit ENTER on the name, the bottom panel allows you [15:52] to pick languages and sessions. The text in the boxes is very light gray on white, and almost invisible [15:52] I can't pick a different language or session because I can not read what is there [15:52] charlie-tca: hehe [15:53] its like a bonus-egg :) [15:53] you gotta work for it [15:53] hm, there should be a menu in natty, right? [15:55] charlie-tca: yeah [15:55] heh [15:55] probably ust a color change needed [15:55] just* [15:55] restarting the VBox system to see if it will get there [15:55] No, There isn't anything across the top - panel is missing completely [15:56] yeah, id wait a little while if you can [15:56] and keep reporting [15:56] charlie-tca: you know whats going on anyways [15:56] prolly more than i do :) [15:56] yeah [15:57] i think we are still less than a week from the unity switch over [15:57] session defaults to unity [15:57] switching to classic worked [15:58] That should be release noted, perhaps [15:59] crap [15:59] we'll probably have to wait for the dust to settle [15:59] and see what all we need to do to keep gnome default [15:59] That was fixed in a late patch last night. The ubuntustudio was not rebuilt [15:59] and not have any major issues [16:00] charlie-tca: there was talk of a compiz update [16:00] that borked something [16:00] a compiz update for unity [16:00] yup [16:01] we still have time though right? [16:01] charlie-tca: when is the next iso testing push? [16:03] now [16:03] :/ [16:03] looks like it is just a matter of which session it defaults to at login [16:03] i wont have time for it for a while [16:03] It should default to classic desktop [16:04] charlie-tca: you in #ubuntustudio-devel ?? [16:04] not that there is anyone over there thats not in here ;) [16:04] anyways... BIAB [16:05] no [22:56] charlie-tca, i believe The.Muso understand that we need to specify the gnome session rather than the default (unity) session and is working on it [22:57] and i believe he is working on finding out how to set it [22:57] and thanks for testing :) [22:59] Okay [23:00] You are welcome. Your saw the note on the light text on white, too, right? [23:01] I think that was the panel issue I had. [23:14] no, i didn't see the light text on white comment until now (catching up on backscroll) [23:44] heh [23:44] Just makes the words kind of invisible is all
