kenniHi, with the announced autobuild rebranding and support of LTS, does this also mean that trunk will only be supported on the non-LTS releases? Or is there another reason why I can't seem to find an option to select trunk/0.25 on my two 10.04 LTS systems?15:01
Mitchell2hey guys15:19
Mitchell2im upgrading my 10.04 .23 system to 10.10 .2415:20

Mitchell2it upgraded to 10.10 with no issues but it wont grap .24 packages.15:20

Mitchell2oh ic, cool i selcted .2415:25
Mitchell2thx15:25
Mitchell2i wonder why i didnt have to do this on my backend15:25
kenniMitchel12, out of curiosity, did you see an option to select 0.25/trunk on you 10.10 system?15:28
Mitchell2no i didnt15:28
kenniok, thanks15:29
superm1kenni, per policy of which releases of ubuntu will get which mythtv releases it shouldn't be on 10.1015:32
superm1read "How long will you keep doing builds for my version of Ubuntu?" on mythbuntu.org/repos15:33
superm1basically 10.10 launched with 0.23 so it gets 0.23 and 0.24, but not 0.2515:33
kenniahh, yeah, 2 releases...15:33
kennianyway, I asked that question out of curiosity as a followup to my question above about 10.04 and trunk/0.2515:34
kenniaccording to http://mythbuntu.org/files/mythbuntu-repos.db it should be available15:35
kennibut 0.25 is not in the list15:35
kennisuperm1, ^^15:35
superm1oh i know what's up there15:36
superm1tgm4883 just fixed the repos-db a day or two ago15:36
superm1and we were going to wait to regenerate mythbuntu-repos package until we have all our packaging switched over to git15:36
kenniahh, that would explain it, thanks15:37
superm1you can manually add the PPA for now15:37
superm1the builds are there15:37
superm1they just wont be updating for a little until we get everything switched around15:37
superm1upstream doesn't have all of git organized still too, the themes are missing15:37

kennino worries, I haven't even setup my git-setup myself yet...I'll wait until Beirdo and jannau calls it stable :)15:39
superm1kenni, not sure how much of the conversation in #mythtv you've watched the last few days.  the original plan was going to be having our packaging directly in git including helper scripts and debian/ directory15:48
superm1so you would have  been able to just call the helper script and spit out debs15:48
superm1but with the way things got reorganized / split and isaac not wanting packaging in the main branch that's probably not going to happen now15:48
superm1but everything *was* reworked and ready to when the light switch was flipped, just Beirdo and jannau changed it all last minute15:49
kennisuperm1, yep I saw that15:49
superm1i'm still a bit bitter about the whole thing, but i dont have enough weight to influence change15:50
kenniunderstandable...I haven't read all of the backlog though, too much git-conversion stuff being discussed which doesn't interest me much15:51
