[05:30] <blahdeblah> You need to split the file inside it, then zip (or better still, bzip2 or 7zip) each of the components separately, then send them to where they need to go, then unzip them, then combine them again.
[05:31] <blahdeblah> It sounds like you're trying to do something via email that would be better done via another mechanism, such as sticking it on a DVD and dropping it in the post.  :-)
