The team misses you to. [09:38] czajkowski.: any experience with the meeting feature on the LD? [09:40] proof of Oisin's double strike at the start of the final bowling game... [09:40] http://pix.ie/ubuntuie/2147717/in/album/400293 [09:41] airurando: no it was only deployed yesterday [09:41] OK [09:41] but it should be a case of logging into your team [09:41] and adding the meeting [09:41] it only went live early this morning i fact [09:59] hmmm meeetings eh? [09:59] bug no1: no ubuntu-ie meeting has ever been chaired by 'rorymcc' :P [09:59] If only launchpad had a way to store irc nicks :P [09:59] all in one place as folks have looked for. [09:59] team reports is the next big issue to work on [10:01] good start. [10:03] Bug: Has a link to the meeting minutes when the meeting is being created, even though the meeting hasn't started [10:05] Bug: Meeting times not aware of time zones. (help text says enter time in UTC). This may or may not be a good thing [10:06] (And don't worry I do this to my company's web software too :P ) [10:08] ebel: have you logged the bugs? [10:08] or just in here :) [10:08] NO :P [10:08] *No :P [10:08] well then loog the bugs :) [10:08] it only went live about 4 hours ago :) [10:08] touché [10:11] if you do file em [10:11] let me know so I can pooike them [10:11] ok [10:13] last few loco-directory bugts then [10:14] :P [10:15] cheers [10:16] poking dev now [12:59] tdr112: you'll be happy to know blog posts will be coming today [13:00] one just done [14:21] czajkowski: good stuff [14:23] ebel: talk to mahaller reason for timezones [14:29] I see bug reply [14:29] Not so bad for us for the next few months until Irish Standard Time. Twould be worse for countries far from the meridian. [14:35] timezones have been eliminated? [14:37] IRC meetings on loco directories are UTC only [14:38] ah, that could get confusing in a month's time [14:38] Indeed [14:39] It makes sense for global IRC meetings, like any of the ubuntu-classroom stuff [14:40] less so, when everyone is either on one timezone or very close to each other. [14:40] The USA is on multiple timezones and they don't use UTC for television programmes [14:40] "$SHOWNAME at seven, eight central" etc. [14:41] Then again the USA is Special™ :P [15:21] ebel: ths answer was some teams like florida span differnt timezones [15:21] I know. [15:21] *shrug* I filed a bug report. :) [15:24] ebel: can you pop into #ubuntu-locoteams [15:24] as some teams span several timezones it makes sense that everyone would prefer UTC [15:25] ah timezones
