[01:29] rsalveti, a little sneak peak on what I have been working on the last few days http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/5225/xbmcgstreamer.png Only h264 atm and seeking is rather buggy and not tested on arm. Good part is that this is implemented in the current player, which is the proper way it should be done and not how most have thought of doing it === davidm_ is now known as Guest37978 === davidm_ is now known as Guest76489 === Amaranth_ is now known as Amaranth [05:12] libOMX.TO.JPEG.encoder.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [05:13] any sources to download this file [05:16] You might find apt-file useful as a tool to answer that sort of quesion. [08:17] i just installed the maverick image onto my sd.. it booted once then restarted shortly thereafter now it's just stuck on an uncompressing linux.. done booting the kernel [08:17] do i have to cut off power and change boot.scr? [08:17] to make a console show up? [08:23] where is boot.scr? [08:38] should i just let it run? [08:47] can anyone help with first install? [08:50] What hardware? [08:51] beagleboard [08:52] xm [08:52] And where are you looking for a console? [08:53] well i just installed it [08:53] it expanded the root partition [08:53] and now i'm wondering where to go next [08:53] Yes, but on what device are you looking for console? serial? virtual terminal? [08:54] i'm on the serial port [08:54] i also have a dvi monitor connected to it [08:54] Does anything appear on the monitor? [08:54] but nothing's coming out of that [08:55] I'm not entirely sure, but I *think* that you should expect stuff to happen on the DVI monitor. If it isn't, I think you have to put a console= line in your kernel command arguments. I suspect that involves editing the boot.scr in the VFAT partition on the SD, but I've never tried that. [09:03] after the sd resize i can't mount the vfat partition anymore.. [09:04] That's unexpected. It ought to leave that their. [09:04] s/their/there/ [09:06] nvm i had to mount it manually for some reason [09:34] ouch my feet hurt [09:36] heh. This is a walking city :) [09:46] which city? [09:46] Tokyo. [09:47] woah cool yall working in tokyo? [09:47] Only some folk. [09:59] * XorA has covered many miles of tokyo pavement today [19:57] i just installed minimal ubuntu, now i installed xfce [19:58] how do i get it running? [20:59] xerebz, did you try rebooting? [21:23] rcn-ee: my dvi tv was not capable of the resolution in boot.scr [21:23] i lowered it to 1024x768 and it worked fine [21:25] ah.. yeah an edid detect would be nice for the beagle.. i know it works for the panda, but those bits aren't upstream yet.. [21:27] i connected my camera and its running smooth on luvcview but every so often it has graphical glitches and hangs [21:28] any error hints in dmesg? [21:28] none but this used to happen on my old comp [21:28] never on my new faster comp [21:29] hm..
