Unit193!vnc | Vegas_HP04:34
ubottuVegas_HP: VNC is a protocol for remote desktop. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/VNCOverSSH describes how to use it securely.  It works best over fast connections, otherwise look at !FreeNX04:34

ubottuEn la mayoría de canales de Ubuntu se habla sólo en inglés. Si busca ayuda en español o charlar entra en el canal #ubuntu-es. Escribe "/join #ubuntu-es" (sin comillas) y dale a enter.17:34

charlie-tcaI would like to know where that was downloaded from, since http://xubuntu.org/get for USA links to 10.10 only18:01
charlie-tcaand so do the rest of the links.18:02

graybGreetings.  I'm setting up a virtual machine that's going to run some greasemonkey automations.  I'm aiming for a low footprint, so I was thinking about Xubuntu.  In researching I came across Lubuntu also.  Which do you think would be a better fit?20:31
Obituary37not for the moment, it works very fine20:31
Obituary37both are quite fast grayb20:31
charlie-tcaXubuntu, of course, since this is the Xubuntu support channel20:32
graybhaha, well said.  I wasn't sure if the focus for Xubuntu was still low-footprint20:32
knomegrayb, xubuntu is more user-friendly, lubuntu will use less resources20:32
graybthanks20:33
knomeObituary37, okay. if you want to chat randomly, we have #xubuntu-offtopic and even #ubuntu-offtopic for all *buntu* users20:35
