We had found the issue with Eucalyptus help; It seems indeed fixed [17:04] but almost immediately we were hit by the issue on 746751 -- with hallyn's help we sort of zeroed in a kernel issue [17:04] this indeed blocks us, no instances succeed [17:05] additionally, there is a doubt on EBS usage -- but we cannot test because 746751 blocks us [17:05]
