| thoams | Hi all! This isn't Ubuntu specific, forgive me. Just learning to use Linux. Suppose I start a program, say gedit, from a terminal . The terminal appears to be tied to the gedit process, and I can't use it again as a terminal until I've closed gedit. Is there a flag or something to get programs to start so that they don't tie up the terminal invoking them? | 15:40 |
