qwebirc40011So does anyone know how to find out what version of LIRC i am running?18:51
mrandqwebirc40011: Well, before lirc was integrated into the kernel, you could find lirc in the synaptic list, or issue the command "apt-cache policy lirc"   On 10.10 or later, I'm not sure how.18:56
qwebirc40011Ok followed all the directions here - http://regx.dgswa.com/html/node/134, but it seems my brand new irblaster from irblaster .info isn't transmitting anyway to isolate if the IR transmitter is working?19:17
