[06:32] hi all [06:33] I am having a problem with one of my thin clients, getting the ldm screen to show up, it PXE boots but then the screen stays blank. I am using this piece of hardware: http://www.devonit.com/_wp//wp-content/uploads/2010/10/TC5D-Dell.pdf [06:34] The only main difference between the thin client hardware that works and the one copied above that does not work is that non-working one had 2x DVI ports, do you think ltsp is getting confused about the dual DVI ports and therefore not able to bring up the ldm? [06:35] The thin client hardware that IS working: http://www.devonit.com/_wp//wp-content/uploads/2010/07/DIT_TC5Xc_SSheet-email.pdf [06:36] As you will see they both have the same Atom processor, memory and Graphics card. === Luka is now known as Guest18455 [08:48] hi all [08:48] I am having a problem with one of my thin clients, getting the ldm screen to show up, it PXE boots but then the screen stays blank. [08:49] any ideas? - thanks! [08:54] ltsp is not workinng [08:56] fuse module is not showing [08:56] #ltsp [12:55] can we have ubuntu with only firefox applcation [17:35] viks: yes, it's very easy. You just create a "session" for firefox, and select it in GDM. Chromium-browser even puts a session automatically, so all you have to do is select it. [17:35] Google is your friend: http://www.instructables.com/id/Setting-Up-Ubuntu-as-a-Kiosk-Web-Appliance/ [17:35] Also, your question isn't edubuntu-specific, so it's better to ask it in #ubuntu.
