It should work better with that. === lilstevie|lagche is now known as lilstevie [13:02] Hello everybody. Please give me a push in the right direction. Which module do i have to load for the usb connected on board ethernet device of the pandaboard? I´ve build an custom minimal image with rootstock using the latest kernel i could find on ports.ubuntu.com. thanks in advance!!! [13:04] g_ether [13:04] oh sorry, misread that [13:04] erm, not sure what chip the panda has, but it should have probed itself in [13:05] do you maybe need to run depmod -a and reboot? [13:05] thats what i was expecting but it hasn´t, unfortunatly ;) i´ll rerun depmod -a in a second. thanks for you reply! [13:07] something like smsc95xx [13:07] probably [13:08] * XorA|gone doesnt have one handy [14:04] ok, problem is. default ubuntu kernel from ports.ubuntu.com doesn´t include the smsc95xx modules... at least it seams so. iam building my own kernel now. [15:31] meAreJericho: default kernel for both omap 3 and omap 4 should include the smsc95xx driver [17:29] rsalveti: I'm getting some unusual output during boot on headless omap4: (stk) :line disc installation timed out [17:31] GrueMaster: yeah, also getting that [17:32] GrueMaster: kernel is the culprit [17:32] Yea, knew that. [17:32] but didn't dig yet to find what is causing it [17:33] Whatever it is, it started with 1208. 1207 was ok. [17:33] Doesn't appear to be a show stopper. We can release note it. [17:34] yeah, started with 1208 === prpplague^2 is now known as prpplague [18:18] Hi there, I've got 3 tablets just itching for ubuntu on them. RK2818, Tegra 2 T20, and Tegra 250 SMP. === prpplague^2 is now known as prpplague [18:53] If you need someone to test them, I'll happily take them off your hands. :P [18:59] I just upgraded my host to natty and now I don't have a default arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc, yet I do have installed both 4.4 and 4.5. Does nobody provide an default alternative anymore?
