BUGabundoahah00:12
BUGabundoThe following packages have unmet dependencies00:12
BUGabundotwo days into 11.10 LOL00:12
micahgBUGabundo: that would be normal after autosync00:14
psusican anyone try to reproduce bug #605975?  When I try under qemu, I get all kinds of fubar behavior including unresponsive mouse, xorg crash and such03:23
ubot4`Launchpad bug 605975 in parted (Ubuntu) (and 1 other project) "gparted does not show key icon in mounted partition (affects: 2) (heat: 12)" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/60597503:23
snadge#77441403:37
snadgenot sure if this is the best bug number for this issue.. or if others have reported it etc03:39
micahgbug 77441403:39
ubot4`Launchpad bug 774414 in unity (Ubuntu) (and 1 other project) "Window movement in Unity jerky (affects: 2) (heat: 10)" [Low,Incomplete] https://launchpad.net/bugs/77441403:39
snadgeseems to be pretty simple to reproduce.. grab window and try to move it.. with unity or classic compiz03:41
paultagಠ_ಠ03:42
paultagsnadge: if it works in classic and unity, it's not unity03:42
paultagsnadge: so it's most likely because their system is slow03:43
snadgeit would appear to be some kind of communication lag between X and compiz03:44
snadgeor a bug03:44
snadgenot performance related at all03:44
snadgesince if you double click the window to maximise it.. the animation is completely smooth03:44
snadgethats one event.. moving a window generates a larger number of events03:45
snadgethe guy who reported that bug, had a fairly high end nvidia chipset03:47
snadgeim using an ati radeon hd4770 at home, which from memory doesn't appear to have the issue03:47
snadgeIntegrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) G45/G43 (is the one im having the problem with)03:50

vishbdmurray, hggdh: actually, moving from fix released is also restricted to non bug-supervisors :)06:04
vishs/to/for06:05
vishthat was because people kept re-opening old fix released bugs..06:05
vishso now, if someone needs to re-open a fix released bug they need to be bug supervisor06:06
lifelessor the bug filer *I think*06:10
lifelessif not, we should let them, because bug filers can always file another anyhow06:10

jibelmvo, hi, I'm verifying update-manager SRUs but I can't use the dist-upgrader from natty-proposed. It keeps telling me 'No new release found' with -p switch.14:01
jibelmvo, I noticed that there is no entry for natty in http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-proposed14:02
jibelmvo, or am I doing sometihng wrong?14:02
mvojibel: oh, sorry, let me fix that14:09
mvojibel: could you please try now?14:14
jibelmvo, it works much better now. Thanks!14:18
mvothanks jibel!14:21
WipsterNot sure if anyone has seen this before, best check before I report. Recently since upgrading my ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 (Xserver 1.10.1) I am getting some X crashes and restarts surrounding web browsing (coincidence perhaps) here is a copy of my Xorg.0.log.old from the backtrace: http://pastebin.com/Jyr9WXhp14:33
hggdhWipster: really looks like a X problem, a bug would be good14:39
Wipsterhggdh, ok sure thing14:40
