[00:27] <althara> So I upgraded my work laptop to 11.04 last night
[00:27] <althara> Now there is no networking :(
[00:28] <althara> I've been using my windows partition all day. It makes me sad.
[00:28] <althara> And my puter is slow
[00:30] <valorie> I've had minimal problems in kubuntu
[00:30] <valorie> headphone jack doesn't work
[00:30] <valorie> that's about it
[00:30] <valorie> I've heard the no-networking problems elsewhere, though
[00:31] <valorie> my wireless seems to be better than ever
[00:31] <althara> yeah, I've got a really really old laptop
[00:31] <valorie> something icky right now though
[00:31] <althara> It had no problems with the maverick upgrade which I also did yesterday

[00:35] <valorie> sounds like a clean install of mav would be a good thing then
[00:36] <valorie> I'm not sure unity was ready for prime time

[00:51] <althara> Yeah. I just got her pictures taken by a pro a couple weeks ago and she is really like a little person now
[00:51] <valorie> and it seems like maybe a couple of years ago they were her age
[00:51] <althara> I can start to see the adult she's going to become. Wonderous and a bit scary
