rsalvetisveinse: don't think so11:08
ogra_it speeds up booting on the ac100 though11:09
dcordesHi. Does it make sense to download natty-preinstalled-netbook-armel+omap4.img.gz       26-Apr-2011 when you already have that image from 2011-04-22 ?11:09
ogra_so i could imagine it helps on omap3 too11:09
ogra_dcordes, just upgrade it ... should be fine11:10
dcordesogra_: ok thanks11:10
matt_ogood morning, guys12:13
matt_oI've been using s-video out the last day or two and have noticed that if I just let it idle, it eventually goes to a black screen (like a screen saver) and never seems to come back unless I reboot the beagleboard xM.  has anyone else seen this?  (I don't think I have a screensaver installed)12:15
ogra_did you try switching to console and back ?12:15
ogra_we have an issue with similar symptoms omn panda wheer that helps12:16

jo-erlendwhat's the status of IGEPv2 support in 11.04? And is it possible to run it on the N900? :)12:24
ogra_jo-erlend, talk to rbelem or apachelogger (probably in #ubuntu-devel) theys maintain and n900 image12:25
jo-erlendrbelem_?12:26
jo-erlendogra_, how about the igepv2? Do you know anything about that? I have it packed away after moving house, but I'd really love it if it would work well with 11.04.12:32
ogra_jo-erlend, nobody in the ubuntu team has tried igep2 i think, but linaro likely has12:37
jo-erlendogra_, yes, I was under the impression that Ubuntu would now use the Linaro kernel by default?12:38
GrueMasterjo-erlend: afaik, the natty omap3 images should just work.  You may need to change the x-loader& u-boot, but I don't know.13:15
ogra_jo-erlend, no, linaro kernels dont get security or SRU support13:16
GrueMasterand rblem is in the #kubuntu & #kubuntu-mobile forums mainly.13:16
dcordesIn order to debug unity-2d I would like to start the different unity-2d processes manually from a remote shell14:11
dcordesI usually put "DIPSLAY=:0 foo" in such case but it doesn't seem to point to the correct display14:12
dcordesHow to do this correctly ?14:12
rsalvetidcordes: export DISPLAY=:0.014:17
rsalvetishould work14:17
rsalvetior 0.1 or even 1.014:17
rsalvetiyou can check where your X is running by reading the logs14:17
dcordesrsalveti: none of these seem to work. I'm not sure where in the log I can find it14:20
dcordesrsalveti: [   519.853] (II) FBDEV(0): Creating default Display subsection in Screen section14:20
rsalvetidcordes: can you try with xterm or similar?14:20
