[04:09] Good Evening [04:13] Howdy charlie-tca! Having a good time and getting good info? [04:15] This is a terrific experience. [04:16] The information takes a bit to sort out, for me. I will need to go over the notes and blueprints to get things staight. [04:18] I highly recommend anyone that gets the chance should really go to UDS [04:20] Do you also record them? [04:20] no, I don t carry the computer to the sessions [04:21] However, every streamed session is available after UDS for those who want to listen to them. [04:22] I'll check them out! (I have been to 2 remote sessions) [04:22] Great! I will keep an eye out and let you know when I see them available [05:01] Well, breakfast time here. Will be back much later. [10:01] Hello [10:01] Can anybody tell me how the translations of Xubuntu are done? Via Launchpad? [10:07] !rosetta [10:07] rosetta is a Web-based system for translating open source software into any language. See https://launchpad.net/rosetta [10:09] Thnx, I'm aware of that [10:10] I'm a translator of Ubuntu. Can you give me more hints? Can't find it directly on https://launchpad.net/~xubuntu-team [10:12] I want to help to get upstream translations from XFCE into Xubuntu [10:16] I don't know the details, maybe someone else. [10:57] https://code.launchpad.net/xfconf [10:57] RawChid: translations are done upstream exclusively (because things translated on LP often only benefit ubuntu and aren't often shared with other distros, or even upstream) [10:57] https://translations.xfce.org/ [10:57] Looks like the translations from transifex imported automatically? [10:59] 'lo mr_pouit :) [10:59] Oke, thanks [11:00] One question, who is responsible for up-to-date translations? The Xubutnu maintainer right? [11:00] I mean, that the translations are up-to-date with XFCE [11:02] yes, simply file a bug if you want some translations to be updated/included. But it's very unlikely to happen for stable releases (e.g. maverick, natty), unless one translation is completely broken or misleading. [11:02] and for the development release (oneiric), new translations are included when packaging new upstream releases usually [11:02] mr_pouit, someone has just made great progress in Dutch translations [11:04] Where to file a bug? [11:04] https://bugs.launchpad.net/~xubuntu-dev ? [11:04] RawChid: which package is it? [11:05] hey whats up with encrypted homedir bugging on occasion I will paste code [11:05] mr_pouit, several packages [11:05] then it's better to file one bug for each affected ubuntu package [11:05] Where to file the bugs? [11:06] https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ [11:06] e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfconf for xfconf [11:06] Ack === davmor2_ is now known as davmor2
