[04:00] okay we're moving over to Pizza My Heart (Ubuntu Hour San Jose is leaving the house...) [05:08] Go Sharks! [05:20] Sharks ftw! [05:22] * MarkDude was sure they were going to choke [05:22] very glad they did not [19:54] https://picasaweb.google.com/tuxwingsgroup/Nature#5606269633055245042 [19:55] Let me know if anyone would like any seedlings [19:59] Yay baby plants! What are those? [20:00] MarkDude: I wanted to ask you for advice on my gooseberry seedlings. I planted basically a whole gooseberry worth of seeds in the same pot. [20:01] So I have maybe 20 sprouts all clustered together. Should I be snipping off all but a few of them, so they don't compete with each other? [20:02] I have noticed they do ok when 2 are next to each other [20:02] more than that- they stay small [20:03] * MarkDude did the same thing 1st time I did it [20:03] okay, thanks, I'll snip most of them [20:03] some seeds start growing a week or two after [20:03] They will take off more next year [20:04] There are some over by the side of the pot that I think started a little later than the main ones. [20:04] They are runts [20:35] akk I still have the hummingbird plant for you- it is making flowers. Do you want a chocolate mint start or 2? Or did yours come back? [20:35] Mine died. :( [20:35] Mint doesn't like it here, I've found. [20:36] Maybe needs more water than I give it. [20:40] It needs lots of water [20:40] I can make sure your plant has moisture control crystals [20:41] *plastics* the future is in plastics :) [20:41] :) [20:44] It is the weakest of the mint family, IMHO [20:44] If it did not taste so good - I would not bother [20:45] I agree. It smells really nice but doesn't taste as good as it smells. [20:56] * MarkDude heard it is really good in mojitos [20:57] Off to work. === rbarot__ is now known as rbarot_
