The question is related to the parameter nomodeset: since I upgraded to 11.04, I'm trying to boot the new kernel 2.6.28, but I get a screen completely screwed after grub. I tried with a USB pendrive with 11.04 and I only get a black screen. I found out the issue might be related to nomodeset parameter. By setting it I can boot both the USB pendrive (already used it for Ubuntu 10.10 | 14:45 |
