FloatingGoathello?09:22
FloatingGoatripps11:40
rippsFloatingGoat: yes?11:41
FloatingGoatyou in unity11:41
FloatingGoat?11:41
rippsyes11:41
rippsI use Unity desktop if that's what you mean?11:42
FloatingGoatare your using it right now?11:42
rippsyes11:42
FloatingGoatcan you test an applet I made?11:43
rippsu mean a lens or an indicator?11:43
FloatingGoatlauncher11:43
rippsI think those are called lens, but yeah sure, what's it do?11:44
FloatingGoatIt makes it so that when you drop a file over it, it adds it too your ubuntu one folder11:45
rippssounds useful :)11:45
FloatingGoatyou have ubuntu one?11:45
FloatingGoat:D11:45
rippsyes11:45
FloatingGoatokay cool me too11:45
FloatingGoathere it is11:46
FloatingGoathttp://ubuntuone.com/p/tOq/11:46
FloatingGoatmake sure to unzip it to your home directory, if you want the icon i mad11:46
FloatingGoatmade*11:46
rippsseems to work, whish they'd work that functionality into the Ubunto One icon by default11:50
FloatingGoatlol yeah11:50
rippsyour right that's not a lens, it just a launcher :)11:51
FloatingGoatI tried to make it work with as many file types as I could11:51
rippsa lens is closer to how an applet worked in gnome-panel, it had more complex functions.11:51
FloatingGoatyeah11:52
FloatingGoatI didn't want to call it an app though lol11:52
rippsPersonally, i'd prefer it just used my theme's icons, since I have a grayscale icon theme, the bright orange is a bit of an eyesore11:52
FloatingGoatyeah but it's a custom icon11:53
FloatingGoatIm thinking about changing the orange though11:53
FloatingGoatmaybe light blue11:53
FloatingGoatnot sure11:55
FloatingGoatI don't know what i'm going to do with the license either. I need to read GNU. Im unsure if I should just stick gnu in there because there is support for adding MP3 files11:56
FloatingGoatand other proprietary.11:56
FloatingGoatbut then again it isnt much of an app11:58
FloatingGoatbut I would still like some credit :\11:58
rippsthat has nothing to do with it. The launcher isn't trying to decode mp3's so it has nothing to do with license. I just release the way it is, but if you insist on licensing just use GPL or Creative Commons11:59
rippsI would probably just send a tip to OMGubuntu! They'd probably love it.12:00
FloatingGoatripps: yeah that's what I wanted to do lol12:02
FloatingGoatdoes it work okay for you?12:03
FloatingGoatand should I make it support directories too? I wonder if that would be useful.12:06
FloatingGoatokay I added that, should be useful :)12:09
FloatingGoathopefully people don't mistake it as syncronization12:09
FloatingGoathiiiiiii15:06
TakyojiCreative Commons isn't for source code; and they even explicitly state that.19:12
