[18:44] <bcsaller> its a pretty highly integrated part too, I really don't want to have to mail it out, but in the meantime I'm trying to get all the proper software on the old laptop
[18:45] <niemeyer> bcsaller: I've had to replace the fan in my old thinkpad too.. it didn't melt, but the axis got out of center
[18:45] <niemeyer> bcsaller: It eventually stopped
[18:47] <bcsaller> when I can get it to boot it lasts about 10 minutes before a hard shutdown
