[02:04] I'm running xfce4, but i'm highly confused over how to configure what is started up. is that done through menus, and for the daring through ./cache/sessions? isn't there something more like .xinitrc? more generally i'd like to automatically start up my FE in a minimal wm which has 1/ a panel to start other programs and 2/ allows for multiple virtual desktops, such that i can run the FE automatically on the default one and easi [02:32] nm. changed the session in /etc/gdm/custom.conf to mysession, copied /usr/share/xsession/openbox.session to mysession.desktop, changed the exec line therein to my ~/.xinitrc, there i start openbox and anything else. joy [12:05] hi can someone help with sound issue [12:06] i have intel audio which appears to detected ok with lspci but no sound. out of ideas
