charlie-tcaGood morning, pedro_14:40
cprofittis there any other information I can gather to assist the maintainer address this bug15:49
cprofitthttps://bugs.launchpad.net/pxljr/+bug/77767015:49
ubot4Launchpad bug 777670 in hplip (Ubuntu) (and 3 other projects) "wrong colors on HPCLJ 3500/3600 printer after switching to 11.04 (affects: 7) (heat: 34)" [Undecided,Confirmed]15:49
charlie-tcaOther than testing that latest hplip driver, it looks pretty much correct. I will mark it triaged and let the printer dev take a look15:59
charlie-tcacprofitt: thanks for confirming that one. I marked it, but we need to know about the hplip new driver as per comment #616:05
cprofittcharlie-tca: wow... that got posted within 30 minutes of my update16:06
cprofittgoutamkk gets a cookie!!16:06

=== bdmurray changed the topic of #ubuntu-bugs to: Ubuntu Bug Squad - next meeting 6/9/11 | http://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad | Documentation: http://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpingWithBugs | Want to report a bug? roadmrHey folks! bug 789123 was filed on eclipse, which was installed from non-ubuntu sources, but the trace indicates what looks like a genuine problem on openjdk-6. Should I change the affected package, or close this one and ask the submiter to file anew on the correct package?16:31
ubot4Launchpad bug 789123 in eclipse (Ubuntu) "Eclipse crashes/quits without any error messages (affects: 1) (heat: 8)" [Undecided,Incomplete] https://launchpad.net/bugs/78912316:31
cprofittcharlie-tca: completed the test -- sorry for the delay -- had a meeting17:08
charlie-tcano problem17:09
charlie-tcadid it work?17:09
charlie-tcaroadmr: Ubuntu will not work the eclipse package, since it is outside sources. If you are sure it is openjdk, you did it exactly right.17:11
roadmrcharlie-tca: hehe oops :( I just moved the bug to openjdk-6 and asked the reporter to apport-collect, it seemed unnecessary to put him through filing a new bug ;(17:14
braiamroadmr: nice!17:14
charlie-tcaThat was the right thing to do.17:14
roadmrcharlie-tca: I found two bug reports for that issue on the eclipse bug tracker and they seem to think it's a problem with Ubuntu's openjdk so I'm going that route with this17:14
charlie-tcaokay, but sometimes it is just easier for them to do that, too17:15
roadmrcharlie-tca: hehe glad I did it right then!17:15
cprofittcharlie-tca: kindof worked17:15
cprofittregular print jobs print ok now, but the test sheet is still not correct17:15
charlie-tcaSaw it. Thanks for doing that, cprofitt17:15
cprofittnot a problem... always looking to help17:16
charlie-tcaThat should be a minor tweak, unless it is in the firmware of the printer itself17:16
cprofittthe test page worked on 10.1017:16
charlie-tcaYeah, that should be fixable then17:16
cprofittits the one that says Ubuntu -- so it is likely not in the printer17:16
macois it possible to reverse the sort order on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+patches18:17
macostill "order by: patch age" but oldest patch first? (not oldest bug...not the same thing)18:17
braiammaco: use the lp-firefox add-in, it sorter it18:22
wcchandlerOneiric May 27th daily, amd 64, ubuntu-desktop, when booting live cd through KVM.  After bootsplash, wallpaper loads, mouse pointer shows up, then blue screen.  Nothing else loads.  Mouse can move around screen.  Right click does nothing.  Cannot send CTRL+ALT+DEL.  Known bug?21:03
JoshuaLOneiric is not even an alpha yet..21:07
charlie-tcawcchandler: bug 78915221:08
ubot4Launchpad bug 789152 in ubiquity (Ubuntu) "When booting an ISO, "try or install" dialog doesn't start (affects: 1) (heat: 6)" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/78915221:08
wcchandlercharlie-tca: Thanks! :)  Didn't know how to word that in a searchable form...21:10
charlie-tcaI know21:12
charlie-tcaUsually just check in #ubuntu-testing for things when testing the development release.21:13
wcchandlerGot ya.  I was going to ask #ubuntu-devel but this is such a petty thing, I didn't want to bother them.21:14
charlie-tcaSeems big when the install can't be done21:18
