MTeckOOPS-1978DY9 when trying to deactivate my user account :(04:11
ubot5https://lp-oops.canonical.com/oops.py/?oopsid=1978DY904:11
MTeckAny ideas what's going on?04:18
StevenKMTeck: It was trying to remove you from all of your teams when it hit the timeout.04:22
MTeckStevenK: ah... so maybe I should go through and remove one by one?04:22
StevenKMTeck: That might help, yes.04:23
MTeckgrrr......04:23
MTeckand this is exactly why I want to remove my account..... just toooooo much going on that everyone wants me to do :P04:23
MTeckStevenK: thanks for checking on that04:27
MTeckStevenK: not by chance any way you could deactivate on your end easier?04:27
lifelessMTeck: no, our tools run the same code04:38

yofelhm, recently if I press on the 'build now' link on a recipe I get 'All requested builds are already queued' like it checks whether it should build *after* it has processed my request. Bug? (Doesn't actually break anything, just confusing UI)08:10
henningeyofel: I remember discussing that UI in a review. What would you expect it to say?08:13
=== henninge changed the topic of #launchpad to: https://launchpad.net/ | Help contact: henninge | Launchpad is an open source project: https://dev.launchpad.net/ | This channel is logged: http://irclogs.ubuntu.com/
yofelhenninge: I think 'all requested builds have been queued'. The 'already' makes it sound like you tried to request a build that you already requested. Which you did not08:15
philip_stoevhi, how do I remove a project from a bug , e.g .https://bugs.launchpad.net/maria/+bug/789632 should not have "Maria" attached to it, but I am unable to08:16
ubot5Ubuntu bug 789632 in percona-projects-qa "Specifying ROW_FORMAt=FIXED, KEY_BLOCK_SIZE=N causes a dynamic table to be created" [Undecided,New]08:16
philip_stoevfind a button to remove it08:16
henningeyofel: can you give me an example url, please?08:17
yofelhenninge: well, happened on https://code.launchpad.net/~neon/+recipe/project-neon-runtime - but it only shows up with ajax when you press the build now link08:17
maxbhenninge: This is the "Build now" AJAX link for invoking daily builds ahead of schedule08:18
yofelI can give you a screenshot later08:18
maxbI have noticed the behaviour that yofel mentions too08:18
maxbI think it must be a regression08:18
henningeyofel: I know that, I just need to be reminded how it looks08:18
maxbWhen the feature was originally released, it behaved better08:18
yofelright, it did say something different before, can't remember what though08:18
maxbIt said something like "4 builds scheduled"08:19
henningeyofel, maxb: I am pretty sure that wording was deliberate. But please file a bug about it.08:20
henningephilip_stoev: I think marking it as "Invalid" is all you can do.08:21
philip_stoevhenninge: I did already, but it looks ugly ...08:21
henningephilip_stoev: I am sorry. ;)08:22
yofelphilip_stoev: IIRC you can move it to the 'Null' project, but not remove it08:24
maxbhenninge: It's not the wording that is at issue here. I think the problem is that something is going wrong in requestbuild_overlay.js, and display_build_records is already returning zero08:24
henningemaxb: Ok, it's been too long that I reviewed this, I can't remember how it was supposed to work and why... ;)08:26
henningeIf you feel it is a bug, please file it.08:26

dpmhi, someone is trying to translate scilab and found out that some templates are somehow untranslatable, here is an example: https://translations.launchpad.net/scilab/trunk/+pots/double - does anyone have an idea of what's going on with those templates?10:40
henningedpm: it looks like the template files were empty.10:43
henningehttps://translations.launchpad.net/scilab/trunk/+templates10:44
henningedpm: usually you get this state between approval of a new template and completed import of the template.10:44
dpmhenninge, ah, yeah, good point, I forgot I could look at the templates list also for projects :)10:44
henningedpm: so either the template file was empty or the queue entry was deleted before it was imported.10:44
dpmhenninge, there is still something else, the stats don't match here: https://translations.launchpad.net/scilab/trunk/+lang/uk there is a total of 308 untranslated messages, but in the templates themselves it seems that there are only 114 untranslated ones10:45
henningedon't bother me about stats10:46
henninge;-P10:46
henningedpm: stats are broken and I have no idea in what way. jtv might know more but I think that really the whole stats business needs some series re-thinking and/or fixing.10:46
dpmok, I'll forward that to the translator then ;)10:47
henningedpm: ok, not really broken, but I just as lost as you are.10:47

spivlosa ping: codehosting SSH seems to be down (gives “Permission denied (publickey).” when I try to connect)11:53
mthaddonspiv: checking11:53
spivAlthough, hmm, maybe intermittent?11:54
mthaddonspiv: we're applying a firmware update to one of the frontends - question is why isn't it failing over properly11:54
spivCertainly http://package-import.ubuntu.com/status/ is seeing lots of transient failures11:54
spivmthaddon: cosmic rays and/or pixies I suppose11:55
mthaddonall the xmlrpc backends seem fine...11:55
mthaddonspiv: it should be back soon, but we'll want to figure out why this failed after the fact - last time we did this it worked fine... :(11:58
spivI'm still observing it happen intermittently.11:58
spivOk.11:58
mthaddonspiv: still happening? the server just came back11:59
spivmthaddon: Not that I can see; I just made 10 successfully authenticated SSH connections in a row12:01
mthaddonok thx - sorry about that, we'll have to look into what the problem was12:01

TheSheephello guys, I have recently received an 'invitation declined' e-mail from launchpad, for an invitation that I'm sure I didn't send. I suspect my account has been compromised, but I can't seem to find any way to change the password?15:54

TheSheepderyck: I've mailed it to you via launchpad16:15
TheSheep(btw, you are not identified)16:15
deryckTheSheep, thanks!  Sorry for no reply.  Desktop locked on me.16:17
* deryck is still getting all the windows open from last session16:18
TheSheepderyck: but aside from that, there must be some way to change the password?16:19
TheSheepderyck: I've looked at help, but it only tells me how to close the account16:20
deryckTheSheep, yes.  See:  https://launchpad.net/launchpad/+faq/5116:20
TheSheepthanks16:21
derycknp16:21
deryckTheSheep, and FWIW, this email doesn't look suspicious to me.  It's the standard mail sent to teams when a membership is declined for someone....16:22
deryckTheSheep, if the team doesn't have a mailing list, the mail goes to each member.16:22
TheSheepderyck: the suspicious thing is I didn't invite anyone16:22
deryckTheSheep, right.  but anyone could have tried to add this team, and everyone would get this mail once the team was rejected, assuming your team doesn't have a mailing list set as contact.16:23
TheSheepoh16:23
TheSheepthat's confusing, it's specifically addressed to me, with my name in the heading16:23
deryckTheSheep, hmmm, and I do see you have a mailing list set for the team.16:25
derycksinzui, could I send you the email TheSheep just sent me, and let you see if this looks suspicious?16:25
sinzuiokay16:25
sinzuiTheSheep: are you the only admin in the team?16:26
sinzuiThe headers in the team emails are very bad16:26
TheSheepsinzui: no, I din't even know I'm an admin16:26
sinzuiThey no not really explain who and why you get emails16:26
derycksinzui, sent16:28
TheSheepactually, I'm not an admin in that team16:29
derycksinzui, I assumed these would go to the list if they had a mailing list for contact.16:29
sinzuiinvitations are between admins, not teams16:30
sinzuideryck: This list of invited looks wrong https://launchpad.net/~linux-traipu16:31
derycksinzui, yeah, that does look weird.16:32
sinzuiI think someone randomly selected teams (I believe that may only be ~mauricio-machado at this moment)16:32
sinzuideryck: TheSheep, the email is fine. The headers and footer are too ambiguous to explain that each member got the email invitation decline. Invitations/proposals may not always state who initiated the proposal/invitiation16:39
sinzuideryck: We need to look that the personnotification code to very it selects the right users. I believe the email should have gone only to ~irc-xubuntu-ops admins16:40
derycksinzui -- right, that's what I was thinking.  And I just noticed, TheSheep, was in the group declined, not the group doing the declining.  That's what threw me off.16:41
sinzuideryck: I think the code is in lp.registry. It is pre-job system16:42
