=== ogasawara_ is now known as ogasawara [08:21] cjwatson, no installable alternate and server images today. bug 805342 [08:21] Launchpad bug 805342 in debian-installer (Ubuntu Oneiric) (and 1 other project) "libc6 failed to install on d-i based images with error 'A copy of the C library was found in an unexpected directory '/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc-2.13.so' (affects: 1) (heat: 6)" [Critical,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/805342 [08:45] ok === doko__ is now known as doko [15:09] Xubuntu desktop images are failing to build, error in messages (no error log for two days): [15:09] W: Failure trying to run: chroot /build/chroot dpkg --force-depends --install /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.13-8ubuntu2_amd64.deb [15:10] also, Xubuntu 64bit alternate shows no updates to the image since July 1, and it should. It shows the image being built everyday, but no updates to it. No errors in log. [15:11] charlie-tca, i think cjwatson uploaded a fix for that today [15:12] (see the libc changelog) [15:12] Okay, that works. Why am I not getting any changes on the 64bit alternate, though? [15:12] seems it was a general breakage between libc and debootstrap [15:24] charlie-tca: can you give me a particular package and version that should have been updated since July 1? [15:24] and yes, I fixed eglibc [15:30] note I'm on holiday tomorrow, so probably want to get all this kind of CD build system stuff fixed today for alpha 2 :-) [15:31] I will have to go looking. It just seems wrong that i386 updates everyday, but 64bit has not changed at all [15:32] cjwatson, if you're on holiday tomorrow could you respin alternate with the new eglibc so I can test it today ? [15:33] charlie-tca: well, uh, as far as I can tell that is simply not true [15:33] speaking of new eglibc bug #805154 seems due to it [15:33] seb128: Bug 805154 on http://launchpad.net/bugs/805154 is private [15:33] "gdm-simple-slave crashed with SIGSEGV in _nss_compat_getpwnam_r() " [15:33] seb128: now that part is not my problem, try doko perhaps [15:33] jibel: ok [15:33] thanks [15:33] charlie-tca: changes from 20110703 to 20110704 on amd64: [15:33] +/pool/main/a/app-install-data-ubuntu/app-install-data_0.11.10.1_all.deb [15:34] +/pool/main/o/openbsd-inetd/openbsd-inetd_0.20091229-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb [15:34] +/pool/main/p/pppoeconf/pppoeconf_1.20ubuntu1_all.deb [15:34] cjwatson, heh, I didn't mention your name there nor suggested it was yours ;-) [15:34] +/pool/main/s/software-center/software-center_4.1.7_all.deb [15:34] doko, ^ [15:34] (corresponding - lines for older versions too, deleted for brevity) [15:34] charlie-tca: this exactly matches i386 [15:36] I am sorry. My last zsync did update it [15:36] ups, I though that was #ubuntu-devel sorry about that [15:52] seb128: why is it private? how can you reproduce it? === ]dmb[ is now known as dmb [19:43] when is alpha 2 freeze?
