psusican anyone help me understand the state of a device that has been removed, but not yet released?  if I echo 1 > delete in the sysfs node for sda, it goes away, but if a device-mapper still holds sda as a slave, it is still in use and thus not released, so if I rescan the disk, it is assigned another identifier, like sde.19:23
psusithis seems messed up and I'm not sure how udev should properly deal with sda being removed since it can no longer look up its holders in /sys and try to remove the device mapper devices layered on top19:24
