I cloned the sources from the git repository, './configure; make; sudo make install'ed the mythtv bits and then repeated the same for they mythplugins bits.  All went swimmingly until I tried to fire up mythbackend.  It rudely protested with a bunch of Application / library version conflicts and refused to start.  Is there
