=== croppa_ is now known as croppa [09:40] hi there, I have a server running Ubuntu Server, I have installed mythbuntu backend on it. I need a desktop environment right? or can I get by without it? [12:58] does irsend work in natty [13:17] i have a mceusb receiver transmitter and the receiver works fine but I cannot get the transmitter to work using irsend [15:56] I'd like to install mythtv from sources (on mythbuntu) so that that I can make a minor modification to mythvideo. I cloned the sources from the git repository, './configure; make; sudo make install'ed the mythtv bits and then repeated the same for they mythplugins bits. All went swimmingly until I tried to fire up mythbackend. It rudely protested with a bunch of Application / library version conflicts and refused to start. Is there [15:56] anyone who can advise me on where I have gone wrong? [15:57] I should probably mention that I'm running Mythbuntu 11.04 and wanting to install MythTV Fixes 0.24. [15:58] As I say, I only want to do all of this to make a tiny change to mythvideo to appease my other half, so if there is an easier way, please do let me know it. :) [17:18] !help [17:18] !help For a complete list of my knowledge visit: http://www.baablogic.net/Zinn.cgi Other available commands: !status, !about, !bug [bug_number].
