RAOFLaney: Are you likely to look at colord imminently, or shal I go trolling for sponsors elsewhere?04:31
StevenKRAOF: You haven't fixed that CRITICAL bug yet?04:33
* RAOF looks at StevenK quizzically.04:34
StevenKRAOF: The critical bug where you need a sponsor.04:34
RAOFSplit that infinitive!04:34
RAOFStevenK: Sadly, policy prevents me from fixing that bug in Ubuntu, and the upload-to-Debian-and-sync workaround is unavailable to my non-DD self. :)04:35
AnAntHello, would someone sponsor: LP 819692,  LP 820201, LP 812120, LP 81586107:24

RAOFLaney: Bah.  0.1.11 has been released.  If you've not done it yet, I'll update to the new version first.09:38
Laneygo for it09:38
Laneyping me when it's done, I'll review for you over lunch09:38
RAOFTa muchly.09:46

RAOFLaney: Phew!  0.1.11 in git now.  I hope you haven't had lunch yet :)11:27
LaneyRAOF: looking, but I won't be able to upload since my machine with the key on it seems to have gone offline11:32
Laneystupid wireless.11:33
RAOFHeh.11:33
RAOFBasically, pre-feature-freeze is soon enough.11:34
Laneywill get it back tonight11:35
directhexis boo good for a sync?11:39
Laneyi didn't build test it on oneiric11:39
Laneybut if it works there, yeah11:40
LaneyRAOF: there is a template README.source11:40
directhexwell, the nant issue. sync nant, i guess11:40
directhexthough iirc it's in main?11:40
Laneydirecthex: should be ok, doesn't change anything11:42
RAOFLaney: …fixed.11:43
directhexRAOF?11:43
Laneyand it's not on the CD anyway11:43
RAOFdirecthex?11:45
directhexRAOF, can you sync nunit? it's got no changes, it just syncs the version numbers with exp11:46
RAOFAh.  No, I don't have the sync button.11:47
directhexsyncpackage?11:47
RAOF“The use of syncpackage is discouraged by the Ubuntu Archive Administrators” - does nunit need to be synced right now, or can it wait for an archive admin to sweep through the queue?11:49
directhexRAOF, i'd like it before quixotic quogga11:50
LaneyAA queue management seems to have slowed somewhat lately11:50
Laneytout the request in #-devel and see if anyone bites11:51
RAOFActually - what are we trying to sync from here?11:54
Laneynant/exp so that we can sync boo/exp as it requires this debian revision11:54
RAOF2.5.10.11092+dfsg-1 in oneiric, and it that seems to be in exp, too.11:55
RAOFOh.  *nant*11:55
Laneysilly directhex11:55
directhexoops11:56
directhexthey sound similar :(11:56
LaneyRAOF: are there any rdepends that I can use to test?11:57
RAOFLaney: Of colord?  gnome-color-manager would work, but that's not packaged, obviously.11:58
Laneywfm11:58
Laneyand would dbus-launch work for the test suite?11:58
Laneyand I don't think you need to prepend debian/tmp in install files any more11:59
Laneyother than that, looks good to me: will test build when I get my machine back online later11:59
RAOFI do for debian/tmp/etc, because $DEB_BUILD_DIR/etc exists.12:00
RAOFI could add a comment for that, though.12:00
Laneyah, no — no need12:00
directhexLaney, i think the nunit and mysql transitions are over, so you can pull them from the transition tracker config if you like12:00
Laneyk12:00
directhexgonna have to try again with libreoffice, at some point. maybe it's stable enough in ubuntu to test build12:01
Laneyi thought that the bindings got removed12:01
Laneyor will do: looks like it's not uploaded yet12:03
RAOFdirecthex: Have you talked with Sweetshark about the bindings?12:03
Laneyask someone in -desktop but I think that's the case12:03
directhexno. i'm fine with removal, too12:03
directhexdoubt it had any users12:03
LaneyI hinted to _rene_ to do that too, don't know if he will12:04

stlsaintwould someone mind test building a .deb from the lintian tar.gz found here on launchpad: https://launchpad.net/lintian14:45
paultaghey stlsaint14:45
paultagstlsaint: why not get the source of lintian and rebuild with a bump in the version?14:45
paultagstlsaint: it's a debian targetd script, can't imagine it'd be a pain to package14:46
stlsaintpaultag: whoa, your everywhere14:47
paultagstlsaint: :)14:47

slughey guys, the sbuild at the launchpad ppa for amd64 builds correctly but the i386 fails. the strange is that both sbuild and pbuild work fine on my own machine (both archs).16:14
slugmy own sbuild log for i386: http://slug.aeminium.org/software/ubuntu/ppa/deal.ii/sbuild-i386/16:14
slugfailed build log for i386: https://launchpad.net/~slug-debian/+archive/ppa/+build/266154316:14
micahgslug: there's a 150 minute timeout on the PPAs16:18
micahgoh, hmm, nevermind, not hitting that16:18
slugmicahg: should i run mk-sbuild natty or there's something else different that the ppa uses?16:23
micahgslug: launchpad uses and old forked version of sbuild16:23
slugmicahg: any particular reason for that? :)16:24
micahgslug: priorities for scheduling maintenance work?16:24
micahgidk16:24
slugis there a place for bug reports/search ?16:25
micahgslug: it could also be an OOM issue if it dies during linking16:25
slugmicahg: it might be, but my 32bit machine only has 1GB RAM and 1GB swap. what's the ppa conf, do you know?16:26
micahgslug: more than that, again, weird16:26
micahgidk16:26
micahgmaybe someone else can see something wrong w/the log16:27
slugmicahg: and that someone might be, where?16:37
micahgdoes anyone know why zsnes only builds on i386 when it's architecture: i386 amd64?17:02
jtaylorhm I looked at that a few month ago17:20
jtaylorbut don't remember17:21
* jtaylor looking again17:22

micahgjtaylor: I"m wondering about the lack of a build attempy17:23
micahg*attempt17:23
micahgthe logs seems to show just an i386 build record17:23
jtayloris there an equivalent of this in ubuntu? https://buildd.debian.org/quinn-diff/sid/Packages-arch-specific17:26
jtaylorthis sets it to i386 in debian17:27
micahgidk17:28

SpamapSmicahg: I'll bug monty about possibly maintaining it in Debian as well21:14

LaneyRAOF: uploaded, but apparently Launchpad can't take .xz yet :-(22:22
RAOFLaney: …really?  Bah!  I thought I approved some SRUs to make xz support better in lucid, and they implied it was already working on launchpad.22:37
iulianOups.22:44

ubottuLaunchpad bug 742408 in Launchpad itself "Support xz compression in source packages" [Low,Fix released] https://launchpad.net/bugs/74240822:45

ajmitch'minimum of mid next week' means hitting feature freeze22:52
