wookeyis anyone aware of issues (segfaults when building) using a debian squeeze (armv4t) chroot on an ubuntu (v7, thumb) base machine?10:42
wookeyIt ought to work, but may not be well-tested....10:42
dmartwookey: what's segfaulting?  I would have though in a chroot, the host environment should make little difference...10:54
wookeyapparently we have segfaulting building hello and in dpkg installing things10:54
wookeyin a fairly random fashion10:54
wookeythe install is using ndb over the network, which would be my favourite thing to blame (copying the chroot to a sata real machine things work OK).10:55
wookeyOK, kernel logs do suggest nbd issues. I was just asking here in case anyone could say 'yes we do that all the time - it works fine'.10:59
brendandi've installed a recent oneiric image on my pandaboard and i'm finding it can't see my wireless AP. It can see A wireless AP so scanning isn't broken, but not mine11:06
brendandoccasionally it does pick it up, but it seems random and unreliable11:06

ogra_well, see #ubuntu-release14:55
ogra_any idea ?14:55
ogra_i got find-live.-filesystem and download-preinstalled-filesystem in order, but cant convince debian-cd to DTRT14:56
ogra_and i dotn want to add a pile pf subarch detection to debian-cd14:56
infinityogra_: I'll have to look later, in meetings right now.15:01

dokorsalveti, would it be ok to start the test rebuild for armel too?16:03
rsalvetidoko: sure, should be fine16:07
rsalvetiguess I just need to check if our PPA will have higher priority16:07
infinityIt will until doko makes it not. :P16:08
rsalvetidoko: what are you testing this time?16:08
dokojust everything16:11
dokoit will be on the main builders at lowest priority16:11
rsalvetidoko: great, go for it :-)16:13

dokorsalveti, infinity: do you want to be member of https://launchpad.net/~arm-rebuild/+members17:20
rsalvetidoko: yes, please17:21
dokoI hope you can then give back builds yourself. not sure if you'll get bug mail17:21
infinitydoko: I imagine I can give back builds anyway, but sure.17:22

infinitydoko: But if launchpad-buildd-admin can't rescore/retry/mangle those builds, I suspect that's a bug.17:49
