[12:31] you're most welcome [12:31] let me boot [12:35] firefox 6.0+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1 [12:35] fennec 4.0~b3-0ubuntu2 [12:36] 6.0 ? [12:36] you are quite behind [12:36] 7.0~b2+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu1 is the current one [12:36] :) [12:36] rsalveti: I hope this helps. I will update the bug as well [12:41] dcordes: great, thanks [12:49] rsalveti: ok version comment added and I also made the bug affect fennec [12:49] it said something about no upstream admin etc. === mayday_jay is now known as mayday_jay-away === mayday_jay-away is now known as mayday_jay === doko_ is now known as doko === prpplague^2 is now known as prpplague === Jack87|Away is now known as Jack87 === Jack87 is now known as Jack87|Away [19:44] I have problems getting a WPA secured wireless connection on ubuntu ARM headless [19:44] here's what I used: "sudo wpa_passphrase NetSSID ASCIIKEY | sudo wpa_supplicant -D wext -i wlan0" [19:44] maybe I have to not use wext but something else? [19:58] So I am trying to figure out how to crossbuild a driver for my beagleboard XM in Ubuntu 11.04 (I am running 10.10) and i'm not quite sure how to do it. Can someone point me in the right direction. I have a beagle toys WLAN adapter (wl1271) and need to get the driver up and running on it but I am also looking to tinker with it. [20:18] openwatts: You can use pbuilder to setup a build environment fairly easily. === michaelh1|away is now known as michaelh1 [20:32] GrueMaster: I am able to get up the crosstools just fine. My issue is really more of what I need to do once I build the modules that I want, and making sure that I have kernel source that will match my board [20:33] When I try to build the kernel and modules, things don't work anymore. I want to make it so that other people can work on the driver, I just need to lay the ground work for them [20:34] Oh. Not sure on that. I thought you were trying to build a driver for 11.04 in 10.10 on the same system. [20:34] rsalveti might know. Or try asking on #linaro if no one else speaks up here. [20:34] I'm trying to build the WL12xx driver so that I can install it as a module on my beaglebard XM [20:35] I'll give that a shot in a little === michaelh1 is now known as michaelh1|away === michaelh1|away is now known as michaelh1 === mayday_jay is now known as mayday_jay-away === mayday_jay-away is now known as mayday_jay === micahg_ is now known as micahg
