SarvattSpamapS: d-i/source/netcfg/write_interface.c in ubiquity has some /etc/network/interfaces handling that might be what did it on my machines00:17
Sarvattits too late here but i'll install a new machine tomorrow and see if /etc/network/interfaces has auto eth0 in it adding 2 minute boot time out of the box after a fresh install. i installed one of those boxes literally yesterday and did nothing more than install, boot, dist-upgrade and reboot to hit the extra 2 minute boot time and thats just crazy.00:24

slangaseksuperm1: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-o-great-cd-debate; mythbuntu is certainly free to pick a higher limit for their own CDs even if we aren't yet sure it's safe to raise the limit for Ubuntu10:03
slangaseksuperm1: just send us a cdimage merge request :)10:03
shnatselinfinity: you are marked as assignee for https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-o-image-build-documentation , is there any development anticipated and is that blueprint even official?10:15
shnatselinfinity: Ubuntu Studio, Ubuntu GNOME Remix and elementary project kinda need that10:18
shnatselalthough for Ubuntu Studio it's not critical, they can use Canonical's build farms after all. Being able to perform local testing would be great, though.10:20
blududeinfinity: Ubuntu GNOME Remix actually really needs that. We've had to go on an internet treasure hunt to find image build info.10:20
blududeinfinity: here's some of my work so far on digging up docs: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ugr-live/+spec/ugr-live-build10:30
shnatselbut, according to https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-o-live-build, Ubuntu's build systems are quite different from upstream, which are documented10:31
shnatselor at least require very different configs10:31

Laneydo we need r-b-d when there's build-rdeps?13:50
bdrungLaney: can you check if reverse-build-depends has no benefit over build-rdeps?13:51
Laneyr-b-d is a copy of build-rdeps with the debianisms replace with ubuntuisms13:52
